N’Faly Kouyaté is back with force with an outstanding new electro-pop album, the first single is scheduled for 22nd March 2022. After long years of career in Anglo-Saxon countries such as Australia, the United States and especially England, N’Faly Kouyaté now wishes to attack the so-called European territory.

New album

In this album, where he is a songwriter, N’Faly Kouyaté sings of the need for water (Free Water – feat. with Tiken Jah Fakoly), the appropriation of goods (Halala), the joy and difficulty of love (Maloya), denounces the eternal problem of the domination of the weak (Premier Pas), brotherly love (Bandambe), as well as jealousy (Departure). These electro-pop sounds are accompanied by traditional instruments: the Kora, the Balafon, the Percussions. These instruments from the Mandinka kingdom add a tribal touch to his music which makes an alliance with hyper modern instruments.

The plan for this project is to release a first single in March 2022, then a second in June. Finally, the release of the album is scheduled for 2022/23.
